Weekly Act of Kindness
Kindness is a powerful way to create a positive environment, and it often starts with the simplest of actions. A warm greeting, a kind word, or an encouraging message can set the tone for someone’s entire day. When we take the time to lift up those around us, we create a stronger, more supportive community where everyone feels valued and appreciated.
This week, let’s focus on starting each day with kindness. By beginning your morning with a thoughtful gesture, you can brighten someone’s day and set the stage for a great day ahead—for yourself and your classmates.
💡 Challenge for the Week:
Each morning this week, before the school day starts:
✅ Turn to the classmate on your left and right.
✅ Say the following:
“Good morning!”
“I’m glad you’re here today.”
“You’re going to do awesome today!”
“I hope you have a great day!”
✅ Watch how something as simple as these words can bring a smile and help build positive connections in your class.
Why It Matters:
✅ A kind word in the morning can set the tone for someone’s entire day.
✅ By sharing these positive messages, you remind others they are seen, valued, and capable.
✅ It helps build a culture of kindness and encouragement in your classroom and school.
Let’s see how much positivity we can create this week by starting each day with kindness! Remember: A little effort can make a big difference.

🌟 Weekly Act of Kindness Challenge 🌟
Message of the Week:
A new week is a new opportunity to make a difference—not just by your actions, but by how you prepare your mind and heart to be kind. Kindness doesn’t always happen by accident; it happens when you take the time to think about how you can make someone’s day better. By being intentional with your thoughts, you set the stage for a week filled with positive actions. Kindness starts in your mind and grows through your actions.
💡 Challenge for the Week:
This week, take 5 minutes each day to sit quietly and think on how you will show kindness:
Find a calm, quiet place.
Close your eyes and think about the people around you—your classmates, teachers, family, and friends.
Ask yourself:
-Who might need encouragement?
-Who could use a smile or a kind word?
-How can I help make their day better?
Set one small goal for yourself to act on that kindness.

There will be no school for students on January 10, 2025. It will be an Annual Leave day for 10 month employees.
