Community Day is coming up!
Throughout this month, our students have voted to see which book would rule the school! We started with 16 books and voted our way down to just one!
The 2025 March Madness: A Tournament of Books winner is, Dogman: The Tale of Two Kitties!
Mark your calendars for Community Day on March 28th! Attached, you'll find the schedule for the day's activities. We will begin promptly on time to ensure we have enough time for all activities. The first 15 minutes will focus on leadership notebooks, followed by an exploration of the booths and machinery outside. You can sign your child out after the Community Day festivities conclude. We look forward to seeing you there!

Swain West Elementary will be dismissing school at 10AM due to a broken water line. Buses will run from Swain West only starting at 10 am. All other schools will remain on regular schedule today.
Swain County Schools will operate on a Two Hour Delay schedule today, Thursday, March 6, 2025 due to weather and road conditions.
